ouis Piaggio comes from a family of entrepreneurs of Genoa who were originally engaged in the Shipping Industry and whose Merchant Marine officers, during the Renaissance, belonged to the stock of the Monaci Liguri, responsible, together with the Spinola family, for the commercial and political development of the Grand Duchy of Liguria. Throughout the centuries, they passed on their knowledge about their journeys across the seven seas and as pioneers in the Art of international business, from generation to generation, becoming particularly well-known during the apogee of the region, in the mid-19th Century.

As from the year 1989, with the same vision as his predecessors and with the support of his colleagues in Florence, he began a number of activities related to the Gift and Interior Design Industry. Such activities lead him to introduce a range of unique and exclusive products in the markets of the United States and Canada for the first time, penetrating the different market sectors such as the company gifts, jewelry, chain store sectors, etc. Similarly, he decided to become part of the business movement that serves several markets worldwide . At present, he is engaged in the development of trade, cultural and social entities in general.
